Our customers are extremely important, but so are the creatives we work with. Models, photographers, makeup artist, and retouchers are a core pillar of our company. That is why we’re putting a big focus on enabling talented creatives to find more rewarding work, and helping them grow/succeed. We don't require you to have set availability. You can apply for any jobs that interest you and work with your schedule.

No more client management

ShotCrew takes care of finding clients, communicating with them, and managing every photoshoot. This allows you to focus on the work you enjoy doing.

Fast, reliable payouts

You'll never chase down a client to pay an invoice, ever again. We pay you on time, every time. We send payments via Bank Transfer (Direct Deposit), PayPal, Venmo or CashApp. 25% upfront, and 75% when the project is complete.

Fill out our talent application

Complete the form at the bottom of this page. Our team will review your application and follow up with you within 2 business days to let you know if you were accepted. If you are not accepted, we'll explain why and provide tips on how to be accepted.

We request more information

If you are accepted, we'll share more information on payment, our processes, and we'll request more information from you. If you're a model, we'll ask for measurements. If you're a photographer, we'll ask for a few of your best photos.

Start receiving jobs!

When jobs come up that match your preferences, we will send more information to you via email (and text if you opt-in). Every job email will include payment and location information along with other details on the photoshoot.

Our job discovery process

Opportunity

Whenever we have jobs that match your preferences, we’ll notify you via email and SMS. The email will include all of the relevant information about the photoshoot (location, mood board, guidelines, pay + travel stipend summary, etc).

Application

If you are interested in a job, you’ll need to “apply” by replying to our email within 48 hours with your availability. After the 48-hour window, our customer makes their final selection for who they want in their photoshoot.

Selection

If you’re selected, we’ll reach out to confirm you still are interested. After that, we’ll send you a 25% deposit, all of the information about the photoshoot, and connect you with the other talent involved in the photoshoot.

Questions we receive often

What is the minimum age requirement?

You must be 18 years of age to be accepted into the ShotCrew talent network and receive jobs.

How do you pay your talent?

We pay all of our talent the same way: a 25% deposit before the job, and the remaining 75% after the project is finished. You will always be paid within 48 hours after your job is completed.

Does ShotCrew provide equipment?

No, we do not. To be accepted to the ShotCrew talent network, you must own/rent your own equipment (DSLR camera, lenses, batteries, tripod, etc). We are also not liable for any damages to your equipment.

Where are your clients?

We currently serve clients that are based all around the world, but we currently only perform photoshoots in Phoenix, AZ and Los Angeles, CA.

How many people are in each city?

We are currently limiting each city to 25 photographers, 200 models, and 25 makeup artists. As demand increases, we will increase our limits. Why so many models? There are far more unique features to models like age, gender, race, body shape and style – and our clients appreciate a larger talent pool.

I'm not in the US - can I still apply?

Yes, please apply! We will be operating in many new cities across the US this year, and have plans to expand internationally as well. We prioritize applications based on the submission date, so the sooner you apply the better.
